Ofcourse the US is to blame and yes, our own European governments / European Union are no saints either.
This has really gone too far. Privacy legislation is just bullshit when ONE country can harvest this much data and with one push of the button the secret services all over the world get this data from our American 'friends'.
It's just the human right of privacy is being crushed.
This is only the beginning.

the most fucked up thing about this all is that most of us use apple/google/microsoft products wich are basicly all comprosmised in terms of privacy and we are already so dependent of these products that most people will continue the use of these products (btw we pay a lot of money for as well...) even though they know it is being monitored.. so they couldn't care less as long as they sell their shit..

But really.... if the Stasi or KGB had such an intrusive machine like PRISM, would the Berlin wall have broken down? Would we live in 'one' Europe.... I don't believe so.
